I return you my thanks for yours of
the 4th VS: I still expect the 12 passe
ports for the Spanish Ships going
out: I must desire you to giue my
humble service to m~ Warre acknow
ledging his letter, and letting him
know that there being no Passeports
here signed by K: Philip I can not
gratify him as I would haue other
wise done: but neither is there
    any occasion for such passeport
the 6 Weeks in the Mediterrean
    being elapsed, and there being
no fear (in case they were not)
    from any Spaniard: for Ships
haue they none of bulk enough
to take any thing that can go
    from Leghorne to the Levant
I giue you a good deal of trouble
in the inclosed to our Master my
    Lord Dartmouth, and haue sent
    you Passeports satis superque

    I am very truly
    Sr
    your most obt
    humble Sert

    MPrior.

Pray let the inclosed to my Lord Trear
    be sent to him immediately
