I know not vpon what grounds my
Masters 1 haue determined amongst
themselves that no Copy of the treaty 2
should be communicated to any: for
this reason no Mention of it is
made to the Secretary of State 3 and
I must begg You to conceal Yo:r having
had it from Me: they haue made an
alteration in the 7:th Article to
comprehend Hudsons bay busineſs
of which this enclosed 4 informs
his Maj:ty vpon the return of
the Pension:r 5 We may possibly
know his Maj:ties 6 resolutions as to


the State of War or peace, that these
tedious Negociations may come to
some determination.
